OPERA Free !!!!

September 21, 2005 @ 6:17 pm

Its been years now that im using Firefox but this past several months im really into Opera browser. In fact, i already uninstalled Firefox because i find Opera much superior for the following reasons :

1. consumes much less memory than FF and IE

2. rendering is way ahead of the pack.

3. its really a fact that its the fastest browser in the planet.

4. RSS Feed ( no need for extensions just like in FF)

5. Its SESSION feature is really helpful and innovotive . No other browser have it.

and lastly but importantly

6. Its password handling and management is quite far more superior the all of them.

And now that its No Ads Version is FREE , there’s no other reasons why most users will not try and compare it.

So what are you waiting for?

Get it now

Aquino, a former deputy director of the Philippines National Police — Intelligence Group, assisted Aragoncillo in providing contacts to send information to that nation.

September 8, 2005 @ 8:55 pm

Well…well…well…another very good reason im so wary of centralized servers.
We’re not just talking about p2p file sharing but a man’s life and inherent freedom !!

From New York Times

Critics say Yahoo crossed a line by helping authorities prosecute the journalist, even if the company merely responded to a court order.

“Does the fact that this corporation operates under Chinese law free it from all ethical considerations?” Reporters Without Borders said in a statement. “How far will it go to please Beijing?”

Mesh Networking Matters

September 6, 2005 @ 7:24 pm

A very informative article by MIT editor Jason Pontin

The benefits of any truly transformative technology are at first exaggerated, but their long-term effects surprise everyone. At the moment, mesh networks are experiencing such misvaluation. Their promoters (and they are many) now describe them with hyperbolic enthusiasm; but in the end they will be the mechanism by which machine intelligence becomes like electricity–that is, invisible and ubiquitous.
